Vatata support rtmp flash streaming protocol and become the most complete p2p streaming solution

Vatata, a leading P2P streaming technology provider based in China, has announced that it now fully supports Adobe's Flash RTMP streaming protocol, so that the Flash Player can now play both live P2P and video-on-demand (VOD) streaming content.

Because the Flash Player is the most popular media player on the Internet, the Vatata P2P streaming solution will enable the deployment of large-scale Flash-based streaming, and because of Vatata's P2P-based technology, this will be achievable at a very low cost.

The Adobe Flash Media Server (FMS) and Flash RTMP-based Streaming Server, can support two models: live and VOD; and can support the codecs VP6, H.264, MP3, etc.

For large-scale Flash streaming applications, content providers must normally use many FMS servers and much bandwidth, and operation is very expensive. Vatata's P2P streaming solution will help these clients reduce costs and add scalability.

With this announcement, Vatata has finished all mainstream streaming protocols, media codecs, and media containers, such as MMS (WMS), RTSP (Helix/Darwin), RTMP (FMS/Red5), HTTP, etc. In essence, Vatata has now become the most complete P2P streaming solution in the world.
